BIO
Scott Mills was born in Detroit MI in 1977. He works predominately in the medium of acrylic paints, but often includes illustrative elements in his art. Scott is completely self taught and credits his study of music as a young child for opening his imagination and leading to his love for the visual arts. His work is derived from a deep love of nature and a desire to turn the feelings of awe, mystery, gratitude and love into visual depictions. He is fascinated with the concepts of symbiosis and the ever changing relationships that plants and animals have with each other. Scott has his artwork included in private collections across North America and Europe. He resides in Asheville, NC.
